I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (Ann Arbor, MI) in Oct 2020
Interview
Phone screen and then interviews with 3 team members. The questions are very strange and not typical behavioral which made it hard to connect with the interviewers and they felt like they were following a script.

Question 1
Not many behavioral, mostly situational questions and felt like a script, hard to connect and did not really need to explain your past experience
the process is very fast. i got 4 rounds of interview within 2 weeks, and got the feedback right after each round of interviews. sometimes its depends on the chemistry between you and the interviewer.
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
