I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google
Interview
I was able to skip phone screen because I know people at Google. I met 6 people on-site.
First one is an iOS lead and she asked a series of iOS related coding questions and was very friendly and helpful.
Second one asked a difficult coding question but helped me come to a solution eventually.
Third one is just lunch. The guy was a bit awkward and I can barely hear him talk. It wasn’t too bad.
The fourth one asked a medium coding question that I came to a solution with some help and coded and tested the solution.
Here comes the worst interviewer I’ve ever met. The fifth one was extremely rude. He walked in, started reading the notes of questions asked from previous interviewers, and said “oh that’s easy... that’s easy too...”. Then he proceed to say “my problem will be super easy too. I usually have the easiest problem in the whole round.” And proceed to drop a leetcode hard question on me and provided minimal hint or help. After I finally came up with a solution and coded it up, there was like 2 minutes left. Before he left the room, he said to me “you know this is my warm up question, the real question is blah blah blah...”. I felt awful.
The last one was actually a nice guy, but I was in a horrible mood already. He asked me an iOS object oriented question and I think I gave a satisfactory answer.
The whole experience is pretty brutal because of the fifth interviewer. I also feel like Google doesn’t really care about culture fit as much as other companies. I wasn’t asked any culture or behavioral questions and having gone on-site at Google 2 times now, I feel like I’d always meet someone whom I don’t want to work with.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Apr 2018
Interview
I got contacted by a Google recruiter through LinkedIn. Scheduled a phone screen for 2 weeks after that call. Got contacted by recruiter after 3 hours of the phone screen telling me that I didn't make it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Google (Zürich) in Mar 2018
Interview
The process lasted over 6 months since I was invited to a backstage event back in September but I wasn't available. I joined the same event in December where I had a mock interview. The feedback was great and I got invited to the real onsite interview, a series of 4 interviews (two iOS and two general knowledge in Java). I wasn't feeling very prepared but it was also my first onsite interview ever so I gave it a shot. I heard back in 2 days about my rejection. Very happy with the process overall.
