I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GoTo (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2019
Interview
Initial screen with recruiter who asked some very standard questions and then arranged an interview with the team lead. The process wasn't entirely smooth as there was some confusion around timezones and technical issues but it worked in the end.
During the interview with the team lead the role turned out to be too junior for my level, which the recruiter should have really recognised and pointed out during the initial process. Had I known, I wouldn't have continued the process. As far as I was concerned the interview was over for me from that point, but of course I didn't hang up on the man.
I wish I had, however because what he asked me next was something I'd never once heard in my nearly 15 years of experience.
The question was literally "You know, I also have children [like you], and I couldn't see my wife working full-time. How are you going to manage working full-time [while having children]?"
I'm not even sure if this type of question is even legal - apart from being the height of audacity, of course. Had my husband been interviewing for the same role, would he have been asked the same question?
As if that wasn't enough to put me off, it also turned out that the role was basically with the rebranded Citrix organisation, which has never had a great reputation within the Dublin tech scene.

Question 1
[As a woman] How are you going to manage working full-time when you have children?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at GoTo (Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg) in Aug 2023
Interview

Question 1
Kennen sie GoTo und die Software welche wir anbieten?
I applied online. I interviewed at GoTo in Dec 2020
Interview
Have 5 rounds of interviews including the initial screening call.
Each interview was fairly casual and asked expected questions regarding Customer Success. Each interviewer asked to record the sessions so they would be more present during the interview and wouldn't have to spend most of the time taking notes. I thought this was incredibly thoughtful.
Then the following interviewer reviewed all of the notes and feedback from the prior conversations and didn't ask any duplicated questions, which was a complete wow factor.
The person I worked with in talent acquisition was incredible too. Since I interviewed during around the holidays, they made sure to set clear expectations for the timeline of the interviews.
