The hiring process at Glassdoor takes an average of 10 days when considering 2 user submitted interviews across all job titles. I had applied for this role online. Similarly to the last few reviews on here, I was contacted by a recruiter about scheduling a phone screen. I replied the same day with several time slots of availability, no response. I followed up several days later, no response. Connect with the recruiter on LinkedIn, send them a message there, no response. You get the theme.
While I certainly understand that things can change quickly regarding the recruitment landscape of a position, it does not seem like to much to ask to keep candidates that you reached out to informed. It is better to receive bad news than no news. The unknown is the worst part of a job search.
Thank you for your interview feedback. We agree that the job search can be a frustrating process and we are very sorry that our interview experience added to this, rather than relieving it! If you are amenable, a member of our team would love to connect with you regarding future opportunities. Thanks again for sharing your experience with us.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2016
Interview
I firstly had a 20 minute phone call about my background and was provided with a bit more information about the SDR role.
Following the phone call, I was invited on site for 3 separate 30 minute interviews with Sales Managers, and current SDR'S. Everybody was incredibly personable and friendly which put me at ease and made the whole process more natural. It was very easy to see the passion everybody has for the mission and Glassdoor as a company, which made me even more excited at the opportunity.
I was invited back for a 10-15 minute presentation followed by questions. Unfortunately I didn't receive and offer originally but was given some very positive feedback.
Some months later, I had a follow up interview with the Recruiting Manager and two other team members, followed by a call with the Director of EMEA Sales. Although the process was a bit longer than I had anticipated, it was extremely positive and I am really excited to start this new challenge.
I applied online and about a week later was happy to receive an email asking for my availability for a phone interview. All was set but I ended up receiving an email an hour before our call from the recruiter asking to reschedule for the next day. Things happen and I didn't think much of it so I sent a few different availabilities but never heard back that day. I followed up for 4 consecutive days and again one last time a week after our scheduled call and still nothing. I was really excited about this opportunity and was very disappointed in the way things were handled, or lack of in this case. This is just flat out unprofessional and I don't understand why I was contacted to begin with if the tactic is to leave people hanging. Even if the role was filled or they decided to go with another candidate, have the decency to respond to an email.

There were no questions asked given that a call never happened
Thank you for sharing this feedback; we sincerely appreciate it. I am so sorry that you didn't hear back from us, especially given your excitement around the role. I agree that this is not ideal, and should not be the candidate experience. I would welcome a follow-up call if you're amenable.
