Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Irrelevant mathematics and trivial programming problems.
Good well spoken managers , and well explained through out and good environment. I liked all the managers and they liked me but I Didn’t get the job after last manager spoke to me :(
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at G-Research (London, England) in Apr 2021
Interview
- written exam
- triage interview (maths, finance)
- three technical interviews (1 hour), I chose maths, ML and programming.
- interview with research manager
I felt in control in the technical interviews, then I couldn't answer one brain teaser in the first "HR interview", and that's it. I think this is not a clever way to measure someone's ability to do research.
