      Principal Analyst Interview

      Jul 1, 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Seattle, WA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Docusign (Seattle, WA) in May 2020

      Interview

Initial contact was somewhat confusing and frustrating. The recruiter reached out for my availability but a few days later I got an automated rejection email from the system and the position disappeared from the career site. Two weeks later the recruiter reached out again to discuss a somewhat similar but completely different position. Then, I was connected to the hiring manager and he wasn't sure which position I was interviewing for. However, he confirmed that he was still hiring for the original position (he was not aware that the position disappeared) and the rest of the process went well. When my virtual onsite was scheduled, I already got an offer from another company. Therefore they speeded up the process significantly. I got a verbal offer just a few hours later after the final round interview. Despite the initial issues, I really enjoyed meeting the team and felt that the position was a great fit. They also moved really fast toward the end of the process, so the overall experience was still positive. I would really recommend the recruiting team look into the technical issues with the system.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The questions were mostly behavioral and focused on my past experiences. There were just a few technical/conceptual SQL questions from one interviewer.
