I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte in Oct 2016
Interview
I applied through university recruiting in September 2016. Received an email in late September for a first round interview on campus. Received an email 4 hours after first round interview for a second round interview to be held on campus the following day. 3 weeks later, got a phone call about a decision.
The first round interview was not as intimidating as I thought it would be. It consisted of two back-to-back 30 minute interviews (one behavioral and one case) with two different managers. I connected REALLY well with both of my first round interviewers. It was super conversational and I felt really comfortable. I had been freaking out about cases, read Case in Point, attended some prep sessions. The really nice thing about Deloitte's cases is that they ask you pointed questions about the case, so you don't need to sit there, lay out your structure, form a hypothesis, etc. Just take really good notes while your interviewer is setting up the scenario for you and be sure to ask more clarifying questions because they have a ton of other information they can share with you if you ask them the right questions.
The second round interview was the same format, but with principals (partners) instead of managers. The principals were much more difficult to connect with, they were pretty poker-faced the whole time. The behavioral interviewer asked a couple of current events questions. The case was the same format but a different scenario.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Deloitte (Washington, DC) in Sep 2015
Interview
First round interview was twofold, first there was a behavioral interview then a case interview. The behavioral interview did not have any questions that were surprising. The case interview followed the behavioral interview immediately. The process was well organized with many young consultants available to answer questions throughout the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Case interview was a market sizing question with a strategy question tacked on at the end.

Interview
1st round was on campus and consisted of one half hour behavioral interview (pretty standard - tell me about a time you were a leader, etc.) and one half hour case interview (mine was a strategy case about entering a new market). 2nd round was downtown and was a one hour two-on-one case interview

Question 1
There were several questions in the case interview that could lead you in multiple directions, so it was hard to determine where the interviewer wanted me to go with the case.
