I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Deloitte in Oct 2018
Interview
A general test, then a team interview with the mangers. Some technical and behavioral questions then an interview with the partners.
It was a very smooth process and I got the offer
The first round was at the school career center, then the second round was brought to the Deloitte Office. One interview for the first round, and 2 back-to-back 30-minute interviews for the final round. No technical interviews. Both interviews were only behavioral.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Deloitte (London, England) in May 2019
Interview
I interviewed at Deloitte London for the BrightStart Apprenticeship in Audit International.
The overall process took 8 months. Started off with a generic online application asking your personal details, grades and competency based questions.
This was followed by an invite to the second stage which was the online immersive assessment. This test assessed my ability to perform numerical calculations and my judgement based on different business situations.
Around 2 months later, I received an invite to the third stage which was the job simulation. This was a mixture of numerical calculations, recording your answer into a camera and responding to emails basked on fictitious situations.
About 6 months later and a lot of follow up emails, I received an invite to the final stage assessment centre. This was the challenging bit. I had 3 days to prepare for a presentation (they provided the topic for this beforehand). The assessment involved a group assessment, networking session with current BrightStart apprentices and finally an interview and presentation with a Partner/Director. A Director interviewed me. Make sure you collaborate with your peers in the group assessment and provide innovative solutions yet allowing others room to speak. It’s highly competitive so you have to show you are friendly, collaborative yet assertive when need be.
Honestly, my advice will sound a bit cliche but just be yourself and your conversation will flow more naturally and and you’ll feel relaxed too. Don’t try to be someone you expect Deloitte might want. The person interviewing you will catch you out so it’s best to be yourself, practice you presentation and make sure you have good examples when being interviewed. That’s what landed me an offer two days after my assessment centre!
