The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX)
Interview
Code signal followed by behavioral, technical, and case interview. The technical interviewer did not help me much. It felt like she was doing something else and was bothered every time I asked for clarification.
The behavioral interviewer was not impressed with my answers. He said they would give me some points for my answers, but not a lot. What can you do. I guess they expect everyone to give Mark Zuckerberg answers or something.
The case interviewer was nice and helped me. I think he was the only one that liked my answers.
I got the vibe that people were unfriendly at the company, since 2/3 of my interviewers seemed unsatisfied with me.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Do not interview here. It is a waste of time. Process was unorganized as well. Interviewers had given me the same systems design question when one was supposed to be coding - took them a while to sort it out. Systems design question guy had huge Indian accent and when I asked to clarify/repeat things he felt hugely offended. I did really well on all interviews (asked for feedback from interviewers which were positive) except that one because he felt offended. When asked for feedback from hr they were not able to give feedback (even though the individual interviewers gave me positive feedback) which leads me to believe the one guy must've persuaded them I was incapable otherwise. The rest of the other interviewers were professional.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Nov 2018
