The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Jan 2008
Interview
Process seems pretty straightforward: job fit screen, testing (specific test will depends on role), behavioral interviews, and case (depending on role). Recruiter made initial contact via phone to screen for qualifications. Onsite interview consisted of job fit, behavioral interview, and case. The decision and offer was made by the next day.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Jun 2011
Interview
I'm an independent contractor working through one of the preferred staffing agencies. I emaled an agency recruiter, talked with him on the telephone, and had a phone interview 3 days later. The next day I was offered an 8 month contract. From there it took 3 weeks to get all the paperwork done, order a laptop for me, and get my security badge

They did not do any business cases for my contract position.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Feb 2011
Interview
I got an interview at Capital One through my University's career center. I had a first found interview in late February 2011. The interview took place on campus and was relatively conversational in tone. The interview consisted of several behavioral questions and requests for additional details regarding sections of my resume. Following the interview I was contacted via email and was required to take an IQ test that had both a verbal and mathematical component; both relatively easy. I was offered a final round interview which I have not yet completed.
