I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Reimbursed travel and meals ($75/day) for a super day at Capital One. There was a free lunch and tour, full of a lot of time to casually talk with associates at the company. Everyone was extremely friendly and gave a lot of advice for the actual interviews that would happen later in the day. After lunch there was 3 interviews with a mini break in between. All interviewers were friendly and talkative, from varying levels of experience. Overall great experience, complete with a bag of goodies!

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2017
Interview
The interview process was quick, efficient, and fun! I applied through the Capital One website and my school's career portal. I was invited for an on-campus interview (behavioral), after which I was informed that I had qualified for the final round and was flown out to one of their offices (Richmond or Plano). The on-site interview consists of three hour-long interviews including a behavioral, a job-fit, and a case interview. You will also have a chance to tour the campus and have lunch with current MRP Associates. The interviews themselves were of average difficulty, but most interviewers were friendly and felt comfortable talking about their life at Capital One. My recruiter was also great with communication, travel scheduling, and any questions I had before the interview, and called me with an offer within 24 hours of my interview. I've had a lot of interviews that, regardless of outcome, I felt were a waste of my time because the recruiters were unreachable or interviews were unremarkable. Capital One was probably the most positive experience I've had during finance and consulting recruiting. They definitely respected my time and energy during the craziness of job searching.
