Capital One interview questions

The first round of the Capital One Data Analyst interview is conducted on CodeSignal and includes 14 multiple-choice questions and 1 SQL question. The first 7 MCQs are based on a provided Excel dataset to test your ability to clean, analyze, and interpret data using tools like Excel, Python (Pandas), R, or SQL. The remaining questions are also based on Excel but involve four different datasets where you need to perform join operations, combine tables, and extract insights. The final SQL question evaluates your ability to write queries to manipulate and summarize data. Overall, the 70 minute assessment focuses on real-world data manipulation, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning rather than purely theoretical knowledge.
