I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Everyone needs to pass a test that is adjusted to the level of position you are applying for and leads to face-to-face interviews.
2 behavioral interviews, one case study and interviews by hiring manager and the group who's hiring. The hiring manager/group has the final word, even if you don't do so great on the behavioral and case interviews.

Question 1
The case: profitability of credit cards. Not hard itself but stressful.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX) in Mar 2013
Interview
Very fast decision making. Case interviews are number driven and have a right answer. First round @ my university: 1 Ci. Second round @ campus in Plano, TX: 2 Ci, 1 Behavioral plus one more Ci at the end after other candidates had left. (This made me think I had the internship :(
Ci questions were about: a shipping company and ways to increase revenue plus calculate break even point and how a decrease in price affects profits; a call center, weighted average of call duration, how to improve drop rate; and the third was about 2 credit cards options which one is more profitable for the company and ways to minimize risk.

Question 1
The cases were easy at the beginning, but got complicated as the interviewer asked me more questions and give me more data.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Initially approached by a recruiter. After a couple of conversations on the telephone, I was offered an interview in the company HQ in Richmond. Coming from Los Angeles, this was a process in itself.
All flight and accommodations were arranged by their travel agent which made it very easy. Interview lasted a whole day. Started in the morning and then spoke with 3 people.
One was technical, one was behavioral based (soft skills), and the last was a big picture interview.
All interviews were done in 1 room where the interviewers come in one after another.
Lunch right after on the campus with fellow Capital One employees, followed by a short tour of campus.
Very impressed with how professional and seamless it was for the candidates.
