I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
Most pain-free and smooth interview process I have ever experienced. First round was an on-campus interview with a current Capital One employee. The recruiter sent out an email detailing exactly what I should expect in the on-campus interview (3 behavioral questions). Showed up at the interview, was greeted by another Capital One employee, then went into the interview room. Had a really great conversation with the interviewer, thanked her, and heard back within the week. Second round was a personality/skills assessment that was administered online. Pretty basic--I think they are just looking to assess your verbal/quant skills and personality fit. Final round was at the campus in Plano, TX. Capital One paid for the trip (airline/hotel/car service/food) and made it easy to arrange these accomodations (everything was booked through a travel agency that they use). Total of 3 interviews (2 behavioral and 1 case). Fairly straightforward. Employees take you on a campus tour and to lunch in one of their cafeterias. Great culture--employees seemed happy and enthusiastic about the projects they were working on.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when one member of your group did not pull his/her weight.
Interview process started with an online Assessmsent first, HR Screening , then mini case study. Case study involved data review, giving feedback on how results could be improved. You will get asked technical questions (how would you build a certain application so have UI and Design questions practiced.
Frist round included a virtual culture assessment. Online scenarios and options of what to chose so that they can see the types of decisions you make, not necessarily how you make these decisions.
The interview process was smooth overall. It started with a computer screening, followed by a 30-minute recruiter call focused on my experience and fit with Capital One. Then I had a one-hour “money case” discussing a Capital One product from different angles. I’ve now moved to the PowerDay round, which includes two product cases, one product skills round, and one product discovery round.
