ByteDance Intern interview questions

overall very pleasant, straight-up interviewed with a team member who later became my mentor during the internship. 4 rounds in total, but 2 were hr interviews for basic information and other 2 were technical interviews.

Got back to me quickly and the first interview was technical in nature which is bizarre. They changed my remote interview platform last second (the day before) to a technical interview platform, so I had little to no time to prepare. I met with one person who quizzed me on very basics of the tools that I used that were relevant to the position. The next half was purely technical and only contained abstract coding problems. could not run any of the code that I wrote because all the questions they asked me were in plain text at the top of the HackerRank page.
