I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Broadcom (Andover, MA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Was recruited through my college for an embedded system intern position, called and had a phone interview. Was asked to come to the office for an in person interview. Sat in a conference room and had multiple people come and talk to me and ask questions. The questions were straightforward but thorough. The office seemed pretty stuffy when I was there, not a whole lot of personality.

Question 1
Multiple questions about low level C coding, lots of network and linux questions. Nothing incredibly hard, got tripped up a little on a coding question that used recursion and pointers.
