Interview
Referred by a friend. Manager scheduled a 45 mins phone interview when he got my resume. Followed by two separate 45 mins phone interview held by engineers in that group. Just went through my projects on the resume, and asked some basic questions based on my experience. They asked very detailed stuff to make sure you understand what is happening in your projects. All of them are very nice and kind.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Broadcom (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2014
Interview
A director of technical interviewed me by phone. First he asked some detailed questions about my projects on resume, then he focused on the technique I implemented to optimize power consumption in VLSI SRAM design. So I replied and then he asked whether I was familia with scripting language like perl and the responsibility of that position.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Broadcom in Sep 2013
Interview
Applied online and quickly had a Telco. The process moved quickly however the interviews themselves were far to long and unprofessional. In total I had 14 interviews, sometimes on a Telco call for 4 hours at a time. Some of the questions rang alarm bells for me but the company seemed like a good fit at the time.
