Offer 18/12/2024 LC OA, you dont need max points to get in, call with recruiter, take-home and then technical and 2 behavioural interviews. People are really nice, office looks great, interviews are easy but hiring bar is honestly all over the place. My interviewers on technical did not care about the extra effort put into the take-home, asked really easy questions, allowed googling and for me to choose what I want to show them and I didnt finish it but they were very nice and let me explain how I would follow up on the thing I wrote and I received an offer, recruiters are really friendly too. But friend of mine who I think is much better and experienced than I am and helped me get where I am did better on her interviews despite not being allowed google and she got denied with weird feedback that I cant really believe. This person got offers from Uber and Amazon in Amsterdam and Luxembourg with much harder interviews and is denied with weird comments that feel like it didnt come from a software engineer but more like a manager. Its a bit weird to write this because I'm really grateful but admittedly the hiring is very all over the place and luck based.
