I'd say the most important thing for the HR is how much you can recite in details of the business. For people who never worked in the same industry, general answer on this is not enough. if you ask back about business related questions in details. HR cannot answer and since you asked business related questions implied that you have not done your home work. HR was not familiar with tech terms related to the hiring role however did not impact on carrying on a condescending conversation. Honestly, I did not expect a conversation without respect for the candidate.
