Two-step interview process. You will be interviewed by at least three people. Two of them will be technical and the other will be behavioral. Make sure to do a lot of research on Apple. They are expecting you to know a lot about the company. Also, make sure to review your coursework for the technical review.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Sep 2022
Interview
Was able to skip the phone screening, as my resume was sent internally to the hiring manager directly. The two interviews I got were purely technical, no explicit behavioral interview. The first was by the hiring manager's manager, then the second was about a month later with the hiring manager themself.

Question 1
Questions were asked about projects on my resume. We then discussed my knowledge of ADCs, SPI, I2C and basic fundamentals such as LPF, HPF, and how to apply these fundamentals to circuit solutions. Additionally, active and passive filter questions were asked. OpAmp related questions, Capacitor questions, and switching regulators (Buck / Boost)
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple
Interview
Three 30-minute interviews that were mostly technical questions to probe what I knew. I think it was clear during the first interview that they had s specific topic area they were searching for candidates in, which I didn't really fit. However, it was still helpful for me to be able to ask the engineers questions to get a gauge of what they did.
