I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon in Jul 2025
Interview
• The online assessment is well-structured and tests both algorithmic problem-solving and system design knowledge.
• Coding problems are clear, with a mix of data structures, algorithms, and occasionally a bit of optimization.
• The system design question for SDE2 is practical and reflects real-world Amazon-scale considerations.
• The platform is stable, and test cases are reasonable, although edge cases can be tricky.

Question 1
I completed the Amazon SDE2 online assignment. I am bound by an NDA, so I cannot share specific questions or solutions. Overall, the assignment was challenging but fair, testing algorithmic problem-solving, coding skills, and system design knowledge. Time management was important, and the problems reflected real-world scenarios at Amazon.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Aug 2025
Interview
I found the entire interview process to be very structured and efficient! I had a Online Assessment, which I cleared. Next, I had a technical phone screen with one behavioral and one coding question, which I was able to clear. For the final onsites, the recruiter gave me lots of information and clarified that there will be 3 coding round and 1 system design round and gave me lots of resources to prepare, so that made me feel much more confident!
