I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2025
Interview
Amazon's interview process includes an online assessment, multiple technical interviews, and behavioral rounds focused on leadership principles, problem-solving, coding, system design, and cultural fit, typically lasting over several days or weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One common question Amazon asks is:
**"Tell me about a time you handled a difficult situation using Amazon's Leadership Principles."**
They look for structured answers using the **STAR method** (Situation, Task, Action, Result).
It was a fairly standard interview with typical principal-level questions. Prepare well by studying their website in advance, as many questions are based on it. If you face any issues, reviewing prior candidate experiences can provide useful insights and guidance.
Interview felt rushed, they didn't answer any of my questions and I didn't feel like they took me seriously as a candidate. Recruiter didn't do a pre screening with me either.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Kairo, ) in Apr 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of multiple stages. It began with an online assessment focused on soft skills, workplace scenarios, and decision-making abilities. This was followed by a technical interview that covered data analysis concepts, SQL questions, and knowledge of AWS services. The discussion also included questions about previous experience, problem-solving approaches, and working with data in practical business scenarios.
