Interview
The next round was a technical phone interview. The interviewer was a senior BIE and focused primarily on assessing my SQL and data analysis skills. The questions included:
SQL: Write a query to find the second highest salary in a table of employee data.
Data Analysis: Explain how you would go about analyzing a dataset of sales transactions to find trends, anomalies, and correlations.
Business Problem Solving: How would you approach solving a problem where the business needs to understand customer retention and lifetime value using available data?

Question 1
This was a deep dive into SQL and data manipulation. I was given a dataset and had to write queries to answer specific business questions. There were also questions on data modeling and database design.
Interview focused on analytical thinking and case studies. Main focus was on the leadership principles. First interview was a phone interview that covered a few basic questions and SQL coding. The loop had 4 rounds.

The interview process was smooth and conversational. The interviewer was calmly asking questions about my previous work experiences and listened patiently. He even gave me ample time to frame my answers.
