I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2015
Interview
First I had an email. We then scheduled an on the phone interview. On the phone I was asked situational questions and a math question. It took me about 10 minutes to answer the math question but I got it right. Within about a month, I received another email saying that I was being invited to fly to Seattle from Los Angeles for the final interview. I got to stay in a nice hotel and they paid for the hotel which was nice. During the final interview, we immediately had to another math question. Then I got to speak with 4 amazon employees individually. The first 2 asked me about my past job experiences. The third one was kind of a jerk. I think he was purposely acting rude and ripped me apart on every answer I gave him. Oh well. The final interview was with a short marine guy who again asked me situational questions. "Tell me about a time when...". Those were easy. At the end of the interview I walked with the short marine guy to the elevator. He told me "not to put all of my eggs in one basket". What a remark. That pretty much meant I didn't get the job. He was right. I didn't. Thanks for the free trip to Seattle Amazon. I had a lot of fun.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you were the management of a frozen yogurt company and your employee was acting up, what would you do?
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
