I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Johannesburg) in Apr 2022
Interview
There was an initial screening process with the hiring team, before an interview with a Senior Manager. The interview was around an hour, where the Snr Manager had typically put forward questions related to the position.
The questions were related to previous circumstances that you encountered in the workplace, especially with customers, and how you managed these situations with a positive outcome.
You have to be ready to recall such situations and describe the events that occurred. Typically for such situations, you have to research the Amazon questions that are available on their website and numerous other places on the internet, These are freely available. Also a number of previous Amazon hiring managers provide their perspective on what to expect and how to provide feedback.

3) Describe a situation where you used innovation to solve a customer problem.
4) Provide a summary of how you would introduce Amazon in an elevator pitch for a new customer engagement.
Versant was the first round, from what I remember. Then it was a face to face round of interview with a senior manager. He asked about previous retail experiences, questions about how to keep a customer happy and retian the customer.
