I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
first was a phone interview where they ask you basic interview questions at the end of the interview they will have you do a basic math problem, make sure you do well on the problem. If you do well on the phone interview they will bring you to a different location where you will again do a work flow math problem, then you will do around 5 interviews focusing on amazon leadership principles.

Question 1
How would you deal with a employee who showed up late?
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
