I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2015
Interview
Applied through campus recruiter. First round interview was over the phone, and questions were all about leadership experience. Next round was an on-site interview. Here there were 4 30 minute interviews each with a different theme. One was a math flow question, another was about leadership values, why Amazon, and then a walkthrough of your resume. Apply all your answers to how it relates to Amazon, this is critical.

Question 1
Why Amazon? A simple question but is by far the most important.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Question 1
Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
