I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
Typically best practice would be to be call those who interviewed, and let them know that they've received the job!
If you're wondering, my review... Here it is... Btw, I didn't sign anything.......
It was way different with Amazon...Most of us took a day off of work to interview. We talked to 4-8 current workers in which half are across the country. So we're stuck uncomfortable in a room by ourselves waiting for someone to show up from across the country on a flatscreen tv to blindly ask us ridiculous behavioral questions, aka "tell me about a time you wiped your neighbors tears when no trick or treaters showed up at his/her house?"
"What was the outcome?"
Additionally, there were plenty other questions about how i grew up, my work style, etc.
on top of that there was also the stupidest "questionnaire" quiz I've ever taken about how to be a campaign manager.
After all was said and done. They set up a time to talk to me over the phone... Don't be fooled by this.... This may not be a job offer... They actually set up time to reject you over the phone.
I've had break ups that have gone better than my interview with Amazon.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you saved a whole African village from Zika
it goes according to what's widely shared in Youtube / Reddit. just make sure you spend enough time to prepare & practice your stories in STAR. very stressful & exhausing to have 4 rounds of loop interviews in 1 day.

Question 1
tell me about a time you review a process & improve it.
Interview process: cv evaluation > digital assessment > personal interview > interview panel
I reached the personal interview phase, which consisted of a 50 minute assessment based on behavioral questions.

Question 1
What is a goal you set and didn’t accomplish? Why?
Extremely time consuming multi step interview process that consist of a screener round of questions, to hr, to hiring manager to loop interview. You’ll probably spend an honest amount of time prepping for this as if you were studying for an exam. I personally thought it was a rewarding and refreshing process.
