Interview

Interview
Simple online application.
Followed by two online assessments. First assessment I got was coding. 70 minute time limit but the two questions were relatively easy. You’re able to pick your own language and able to run test cases. You can see the result of the actual tests as well but some of them are hidden so you can only see the result and not the input. However the questions are okay to answer in the timeframe.
The second online assessment was a work day simulation. You get some emails and teams messages and it asks you multiple choice questions throughout. Nothing too difficult. Then it asks you some personality questions after. Takes maybe an hour or so.
Then I was invited to interview. Two 1 hour interviews back to back with software developers. They give you a lot of information online about how these interviews go and they are entirely accurate.
First part of the interview is competency questions based on their leadership principles so they ask you to tell them about a time you did something. Best to follow the STAR method.
The second part is technical interviews. They give you a question and you can write code for it. They expect you to ask questions about it and explain your thinking as you go. The questions are not too difficult and if you prepare by doing leetcode or hackerrank or just looking them up online you’ll likely have seen the question before.

Tell me about a time you made a short term sacrifice for a long term benefit.
