      Corporate Function Interview

      Sep 8, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Airbus in Jun 2018

      Interview

Standard process where the first call is on the month of June. It is coming from HR after more than one month of submission. They are pushing you to have the interview in the same day which is not professional at all. It is basic understanding that applying a leave or at least a time off is a basic respect toward the current company. Second interview will be with your hiring manager. French native who is already staying in Singapore for 2 years. All the interview is done within 1.5 week since HR has mentioned that this position is urgent and need to start ASAP. After the final interview they will tell you (HR/Hiring Manager/VP) that they will have internal meeting, please give them sometime, Hr will be in contact with us as and when to update us the progress. Meanwhile shall we have any queries, we are free to contact them through email. But they are doing the opposite way. It is a “RADIO SILENT” for more than 2 months even after they have indicated to you that your interview is going well. An email sent to HR and Hiring Manager after a Long Long Long Long wait (September) ended up with an EXTREME COLD [SILENT] manner. It is very contradicting . It raises concern. They have communication problem internally and externally. They really need to work on it. It is serious problem. If they are not processing further with the application, tell the applicant the truth. By running away from reality (RADION SILENT) it will not do you any good. Face it and you earn respect. You loss potential of good employee and you loss respect from others which it will impact badly on company reputation. If you can not hire the person for whatever the reason are, do not give empty promises upfront. Lip service is dangerous. Being truthful is appreciated. It is a big company but yet they are lacking in many ways. Lack of respect and consideration. Applicant has already taking their time to attend the interview so respect them by telling them what you promise them instead of running away. Whatever we do, it’s goes two way.
