I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture
Interview
Besides not confirming applications like "normal", the "Japanese" office avoids direct communications, and nobody mentions a "bug" in applications system, which may be exploited to "force" candidates re-apply - otherwise ghosting starts, just like other reviewers say here. This isn't a "pro" "unattended" case, which companies may practice during the selection process, so (1) apply remotely for jobs in Japan only if you're ready to invest days into your application and (2) If you're an experienced candidate - be especially cautious, as there's no guarantee of being interviewed even after the 2nd application. Not sharing of profile information with non-HR staff (until positive feedback is received from HRs) may also help to overcome the pressure.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Accenture
Interview
The first interview was with HR, and the second was technical in nature. Questions covered architecture, testing, and databases. The selection process was well-organized and efficient. It was a positive experience that left a good impression of both the staff and the company.
