I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI in Feb 2015
Interview
I was given a telephone interview after completing the online application. They basically asked the same questions which were on the application and a few extras like;
- Why did you apply for this role?
- What do you know about the company (Aldi)?
After 3 weeks of waiting a got a email to say there wasn't a job for me to go into but they would hold my information for 12 months and put me forward for the jobs as they came.
Application online , video interview questions, in store interview, manager was cold and kept describing the job as hard that was available , got a no response next day , as manager described people staying only 4 weeks due to work to hard , you think he takes on older mature person, his loss for reliability staff
Was an online interview they asked why I want to work for aldi why do I think I’d be a good fit and what’s a time you delivered excellent customer service

Question 1
What’s a time you delivered excellent customer service
Pleasant and honest. Interview was held a hotel conference space in an open day format. Prospective workers were called in batches in a sort of ‘speed dating’ format. Interviewers were actual assistant store managers and as such were able to provide relevant insight into the role.
