ADP Project Manager interview questions

Applied online, within a few weeks received an email asking for availability of a phone interview with one of the recruiters. Had the call with the recruiter who explained it was a three round (really four if you include the phone screening) interview plus a case study between round 2 and 3. Felt like the recruiter and I were speaking two different languages. At the end of the call they explained they would be short listing from the candidates they've intereviewed for the the next round and that by the end of the week they would let me know. Well two weeks comes around, no word, sent an email at the beginning and end of the third week asking for first status and then feedback. I received a response finally one after the other a day a part. The first was that they'd provide feedback after the hiring manager made the decision. The next communication was that I was told by the recruiter that I didn't make the first round and to keep a look out for other roles. That was jarring as I was looking for response and insight and all I received were two short, curt emails.
