I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Columbus, OH) in Aug 2021
Interview
The beginning was pretty standard. Phone call, then a video chat with who I presume was the hiring decision-maker (title of Vice President). This person was distracted throughout our short conversation, then actually cut me off to inform me that he had another call coming up.
I was sent a follow up email informing me that I'd advanced to the next stage. Great! It would involve a video call with the local leadership team, followed by a scenario role playing a sales interaction. I got on the video call, and after going through the normal conversation with the three team members (tell us about yourself, what are your goals, personal goals, ect) I'm told that the Vice President wouldn't be joining us because he had gotten caught up on another call...again. I'm told that they want to reschedule the role playing scenario,
Two hours later, I received an email informing me that they've selected a different candidate and the rest of the normal corporate rejection notice word salad.
I have never experienced whiplash during an interview process quite like this. I found it be to classless and, from a purely personal perspective, it was a cruel way to treat someone hoping to join your organization. If I didn't get the job, that's okay and a normal part of the process. The way I was treated - barely paying attention in the first interview, then actually ignoring the second interview while telling me everything is fine and that a new time is being setup, culminating in a blind-side rejection - is not okay.
Sure, it's just business, but businesses are made up of people. This interview process was, on a personal and professional level, disrespectful.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Virginia Beach, VA) in Apr 2020
Interview
The interviews seemed to be a bit lengthy. I ended up having 4 interviews altogether, so a few of them had repetitive questions. They were all very friendly during the interview process. They have you roplay in the 3rd interview.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADP (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2020
Interview
First round takes place over the phone with recruiter. General questions regarding experience, “why sales?”, “why ADP?” Etc. For second round, I had a ride day with another sales rep. This was a neat experience to be able to ask questions a bit more off the record and get exposure to the products/decision makers. After, I went back to office and interviewed again with the manager and Regional Vice President. There is a Brief roleplay.
