We very much agree that TMF Group is a people business whilst also recognising we can always do more. We are investing very heavily into ‘levelling up’ our HR function and have made some major progress, and key appointments, in key areas such as reward and recognition, training, values and performance management. We expect to see this reflected in future employee engagement surveys.

Pros

I worked with some good people. HOWEVER, most were unhappy. Many have since left - staff turnover is ridiculously high and people often leave without somewhere to go to. Employee satisfaction is very low. If TMF's senior management knew how to run a successful business then, their global platform should be amazing. Sadly, they don't know how to run a global business so the global platform is basically a huge franchise model where every MD fights over their own P/Ls - it does not place clients first.

Cons

Senior management don't care how targets are reached, as long as they are reached. All they care about is the here and now - bill the client for whatever you can, doesn't matter if the client leaves the following year. They're tripping over dollars to pick up pennies. There is NO concept of investing in client relationships. During my time at TMF, I witnessed people being told to bill for work that had not been performed. I also saw people double charging clients for the same work.

Pros

Brand name, work and projects

Cons

It is a great organization with good projects in hand, but unfortunately the leadership styles is just taking it down the drain. Seniors think that they are just GODS working with some superficial powers as they use it for just HIRING and FIRING people without any prior intimation and on their own wishes. Leadership team thinks that they are the greatest, but unfortunately they have got the roles but no responsibilities. Weird and high pay packages has got to individuals brain. There is no need for any basic qualifications - as if you HAVE IT IN YOU you shall be hired (PUN intended for sure)
