Pros

Great Benefits, Great products to work on, lots of learning can happen. It's a fast paced, results oriented enviornment so you definitely get experience with different designs. I've been working there about a year and have worked on a handful of designs already. The products are very cutting edge and you will be designing hardware/software possibly up to a year before they are available to the consumer. The benefits cover you and your dependents for medical, dental and vision. They have gyms at work as well as dentists and a medical center at work. There are fitness classes, on campus fairs and concerts, as well as tennis/volleyball/basketball courts.

Cons

Appreciation is not always there. Often you work extra hours or do extra work w/out appreciation or compensation.

Pros

Great benefits. Very easy work times.

Cons

Your manager must like you. Place has become bureaucratic and political. Need to impress the right people otherwise you are doomed. Many people who are rich because of stocks are lazy and don't do anything. Its really depends on the lead and director. Information sharing within teams can come a problem. Promotions are sometimes not fair.

Pros

- the wireless market is hot - technology driven - employees are nice to work with

Cons

- the place is chaotic with lack of clear direction and leadership - there are many good manager and as many or more bad managers - senior leadership does not really know what's going on at lower level - people that are contributing are ignored and the ones that don't do work get promoted/recognized - a lot of fire-fighting with no clear project schedule or strategy - watch out for back-stabbing managers that will sacrifice their employees for their own advancements and agendas
