Pros

Great people to work with. Very smart people. Great benefits. People very helpful when you need help. Get to work on cool projects.

Cons

Need better communication between groups. Forced to spend more time at work then with family/friends. Sometimes you have to work long hours and not very well compensated. Having to be at home on weekends watching work emails to see if you have to come into work is not fun when you could be outside relaxing. Caring the company cell phone and having it go off in the middle of the night is not great either. Having to work when the company was shut down during Christmas was not great either. Didn;t get extra compensation.

Pros

There is decent work life balance and flexible work timings which helps one be productive. Enough time is given to ramp up and understand internal flows. There are communities within Nvidia for engaging in your hobbies and trying out new things.

Cons

I personally did not have a good experience in terms of inclusivity and diversity. I was the only female in my team in the Bangalore office. I have just started my career and my experiences and the questions/doubts they raised about the values of the team and the company left me very confused. I also had no female role models to look up to. It felt like my experiences were setting an example for the rest of my career that I'll always have to try this hard to feel included as compared to my male counterparts. I wanted to feel a part of the team. I believe I could be a great team player, but I feel like I didn’t even have a chance. I tried to engage with the team and many times they continued the conversation amongst themselves, and didn’t even respond to my words. I felt very invisible. I don’t feel like I had any power to change this situation as I had now tried at multiple occasions but to no avail. It had gotten to a point where being around them was a stressful experience as I felt singular, excluded and out of place.

Pros

Jensen's vision for the company is excellent, well rounded and keeps in mind the time and energies of the 20,000+ employees that work at the company. There is an immense on employee wellbeing and satisfaction, the perks and pay are best-in-industry and the campus is the cherry on top. Employees are basically provided with every single thing they need to be able to do their life's work at NVIDIA. I might just work here for the rest of my life and retire from here.

Cons

You need to be really smart and efficient, and an incompetent worker will have a tough time surviving here.
