Dear colleague, Thank you for sharing your thoughtful and encouraging feedback about your position at Munich Re. We truly appreciate your recognition of the benefits, pay approach and commitment to integrity within our culture. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding decision-making processes and the complexity of our structure. Your suggestion to increase transparency and to involve junior staff is well taken. Pros

+ Full-time benefits are generous. + Some fun socials.

Cons

- 3 days in office when other companies were only 1-2 days. - Culture of overwork, everything expected to have been done yesterday. - Meeting heavy culture, eats into time needed to work. - Personal issues and mental health can be dismissed. Rampant burnout.

Dear colleague, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are glad to hear you value our benefits and enjoy the social events we organize as both are areas we continually invest in for our people. However, we are sorry to hear about the challenges you outlined. An intense workload and the perception that personal well-being and mental-health concerns are not fully acknowledged are experiences that do not reflect the supportive, sustainable culture we aim to provide. Please know that we are consistently trying to find areas where we can further improve and create a positive environment for all our employees. Your input helps with that. To help us address these issues more directly, we encourage you to speak confidentially with your HR Business Partner. Additional context will allow us to investigate and drive meaningful improvements for you and the wider team. Thank you for your openness and commitment to Munich Re. Kind regards, Munich Re
