      Pros

      The teams you work on are extremely supportive, and if you're a relative talented engineer, you won't feel too stressed out by work. You also get to talk to clients occasionally, and there is alot of room to grow into management.

      Cons

      Processes are a bit slow, but this comes naturally with the size of the company. You might get bored if you want some extremely technical and challenging problems to work on as most of the work is to develop business applications.

      Pros

      * Motivating job: IBM gives interesting challenges that you won't find in some companies * Flexibility: can work from home, or even from another country. * Collaboration tools: Working at IBM gives you the chance to use many collaboration tools such as Sametime, Rational Team Concert and e-Meetings. * Salary and benefits: decent salary and benefits.

      Cons

      * Lack of structure. Our team didn't apply most of the techniques proposed by agile and other processes. We didn't even had iterations. * Management is mostly composed of non-technical employees. * Lack of communication between management, marketing, development, user experience and testing. Every department is isolated from the other. * Microsoft offers a better salary.
