Pros

Great work environment, friendly and respectful staff, straight forward work, and some departments of the store are easier to work than others

Cons

As with any job you have to multitask (cashier duties, recovery, inventory, displays, cleaning and organizing, etc. all at once) throughout your shift which becomes difficult to do in some of the busier and messier departments of the store which can become especially taxing when managers give you a different job to do every few minutes without letting you completing the first one.

Pros

The products are lovely and there is 10% discount, sometimes double discount weekends. Generally the customers were nice and friendly.

Cons

Everything else. Horrible managers, taken advantage of when I said I was flexible with hours, constantly being given hours I couldn't do, overworked, never praised, promised bonuses for good work that I never got (eg gift card), managers never said hello, being spoken to rudely. When I said I had been given a shift that clashed with my availability hours I was told "well it is your word against ours". Another employee was helping me to unpack delivery for the first time and teaching me how to sort products, and we were told by a manager to shut up and stop talking and work more. Was made to feel awkward, pressured and guilty for leaving, then not a single goodbye from any managers or staff.

Pros

A very pretty looking store !

Cons

The company talks highly about values,mutual respect among'st the staff, pleasant work environment and care and support for employees in a 4 hour training but sadly it is only confined to the books !!!! Such values are only for the employees to absorb while the leadership can have their own disrespectful, unfiltered and unprofessional code of conduct which even involves using objectionable language with the subordinates!!! Shameful !!!!
