The WLB is insane, nothing's ever expected to get done, and you just have to commit a few PR's a year to get an Acceptable or even Exceeds rating
Cons
Read the above thing and understand that if you're trying to set up a promo packet, other engineers on your team will actually have to do lots of work approving your problem docs and your alternatives docs and your design docs and your migration docs and your PRs and.... And it turns out they hate doing that because they love working 20 hours a week, so they won't do it. And then promo is impossible. The misalignment between perf periods and OKR semesters isn't great for this either.
