Pros

The coworkers were good - everyone made an effort. They were helpful.

Cons

I was the only native English speaker in the group which lead to difficulty with communications. The management needs serious communication help. There is little to no documentation for new hires. The work is often tedious and not coding related. The manager was condescending to myself and multiple other coworkers. Other coworkers complained that manager micromanages the longer you stay.

Pros

Volunteer/ Optional Overtime Rotating 322 schedule Benefits Package 90day wage incentives based on self-driven professional development. Solid Pay to Work Effort Ratio. Documentation and Training provided.

Cons

Support Departments including but not limited to Management, Maintenance and Engineering lacked cross-department incident resolution. Some staff lacked accountability in regards to being both knowledgeable and accountable for their respective work duties. Each Department has an independent understanding of the 'whole picture.' The problem with this is it wasn't holistic / unified across the work environment, and caused unnecessary tension. Noticeable lack of Root Cause Analysis and intermediate problem solving skills from staff when required. Lack of parts in stock, when repairs are needed, sometimes takes 2weeks+ to properly fix critical work equipment. Lack of ownership and follow through. Staff in positions of authority often stated they weren't 'in the know.' On occasion reactive excuses were provided for employee concerns Too much fire-fighting to solve the problem quickly, which often ended up in temporary 'patch' fixes. Sometimes an extra brainstorming session could resolve repetitive errors. Production quality over the last 9 months has decreased by a noticeable amount, while efforts are focused on 'new improvements,' that may or may not be in effect still for another 6-12 months tentatively. Lack of Preventative Maintenance of Business Critical Machinery and Infrastructure. Rotating Day / Nights can be a possible con for some!
