There is a huge lack of communication throughout the company. Especially, the communication between dispatchers and drivers. It has been 2 months since our company was bought out by World Fuel and most of us have yet to see any sort of management or chain of command. The work shifts are extremely long, often lasting between 12-14 hours (sometimes 16) a day/night while dealing with dangerous chemicals and some of the worst traffic in the nation. This company will work you to death. We often don't get to see our families or have much of a home life. It can literally suck the life out of you. Finally, there have been shady incidents (I would almost go as far to say borderline illegal) concerning lower management, as well.
