Pros

Great pay, benefits and work life balance. This company has a lot to offer.

Cons

There’s a ton of internal drama. There are literally entire organizations of people that are like parasites to the sales teams’ successes with absolutely nothing to offer. The “CSAM” organization is lead by a thug who lacks actual experience to help us get to the next level. All he knows how to do is run salesforce reports and tell lies. His politicking has served him well and he’s fooled many people which gives me major doubts in the intelligence of our executive leaders. Anyone with two brain cells can see through this. He manages to direct an entire organization to steal from the company and at this point I’m simply exhausted from fighting it. You win. Let corruption lead. Dismiss what our customers actually need. Go ahead - blame the sales team. Everyone who is great has already left or is actively job searching. HR is failing us.

Pros

All the things I used to love about this company are no more. I used to love the culture (truly, it was top notch), leadership, vision and collaboration. But, all of that has changed and it is no longer the company it used to be.

Cons

Used to be the best company in terms of culture, leadership, vision and collaboration. Our customers used to love us. Fast forward to today, customers are frustrated and don't see the value they once did. The cost of our solution doesn't help, we're the most expensive eSignature provider out there. And while we could justify it several years ago, we can't anymore. As if that weren't frustrating enough, we're now tasked with more busy work than anybody knows what to do with. It's literally taking away our ability to engage with customers and shouldn't that be the main focus right now? Morale is at an all-time low and nothing works as it should which means that completing the simplest tasks is nearly impossible without jumping through 10 different hoops - and no, I'm not kidding or exaggerating. If you're considering a job here, spare yourself and look elsewhere.

Pros

DocuSign is a great product that sells itself, we lead the market and can easily beat in any competitive situation. People are high quality, most of my friends i've met at DocuSign

Cons

I have been at DocuSign for a half decade and have never seen such a large exodus of talent. We missed hard H2 and management has decided to blame the salesforce instead of correcting their strategy. I have yet to talk to a single peer who is not actively looking for a new job. Our compensation was always a bit below market, now with teams averaging below 50% attainment and the market being red hot it no longer makes sense for people to stay. We don't need more "agreement cloud" or sales training, we need an attainable quota and a salary that allows us to justify staying.
