Pros

Smart people, great product, industry leader, great location in downtown SF and Seattle. Collaboration is strong. Have not met one person yet who is not willing to help you and do what is best for the company.

Cons

None that I can think of right now. You have to want to be part of building a special company versus being at a company that is just in maintenance mode.

Too many chiefs (VPs/C-level hires outnumber the doers), Good 'ol boy network

Pros

Work environment - perks similar to other startups - great office space, good benefits, decent salary if you negotiate, some very smart people, product has potential

Cons

Old school hierarchy rules - highly paid VPs abound, management skills lacking across the senior management team, typical tech sales driven culture. The company lacks diversity on every single level but most predominately at the top.

Thank you for your comments. We wish you well in your new endeavors. We have brought in a bunch of seasoned leaders since you wrote this review. We think it's paid off as we hired about 1000 employees since that time. We have also introducing a Manager Toolkit and Manager Orientation during Discovering DcouSign (our two day all global new hire orientation in Seattle) and we are working on creating a more diverse workforce at every level -- a challenge for most enterprise software companies. I've referred a couple of "diverse" employees, some of who have been hired. I make it a point to review our job listings and try to contribute to building a diverse candidate slate through my own network. It's going to be a team effort. But we are getting there.
