      Kind & collaborative people with a lot of meaning in the work. Good opportunities to grow/expand horizons with exposure to lots of sides of the industry.

      Difficult to move positions internally. Can be a challenge to get field experience.

      Pros

      As far as company culture this is as far the best company I have been part of where I don't feel overworked nor I feel limited to my role as a recruiter. There are many learning opportunities where you get to expand your skills outside of your skillset with internal courses, and webinars as well. DAI is very diverse and the moment I stepped into the Office in Bethesda I was very shook ( in a good way) by this! There are people from many different professional backgrounds ( such as teachers, political science, healthcare, etc). After only being in the company for a few months I got the opportunity to do my first Recon trip to South America ( which was an amazing experience. Cons? I can't think of any that has impacted my mental health or working performance. I really like DAI and would recommend this work place to anyone interested in the international development/business field.
