No more WFH benefit. Bad culture

Pros

Good colleagues and team. Good learning opportunity as a stepping stone

Cons

- Company CEO removed hybrid work suddenly, not even allowing 1 day WFH. Ignoring employee well-being and inclusion. - says that company still offer great flexibility for those who can WFH. But if the company policy is 100% onsite, will mgrs even allow WFH? A big NO. - company future way of work is hotdesking but requires 100% onsite? How is this possible? Clearly, ignornant about where everyone’s gonna sit. Throwing everyone to fight and scramble for a seat. How is this a good company culture and conducive environment? - Higher management not listening to the voices on ground. Having hybrid work is the greatest flexibility applied can provide. - politics between cross functional team. - management always going back on their words and directives (eg. implementing WFH hybrid but decided to take back, stating project deadline but decided to expedite for sooner closure)

Pros

Established company with less new entrants in the market. Decent pay and benefits in Texas

Cons

Friends and family of senior IT leadership get the job and promotions even if they are from non IT or don’t even contribute. It depends on who you know Vendors are selected based on kickbacks they can give to managers through offshore channels or hire their family members as contractors. Nepotism @ it’s best in IT Never file an ombudsman complain for ethical issues with your name as the filer. Your life will become hell in and out of the company and you can never go back. Basically HR and ombuds act like fixers for management and do not care about employees. All this is about their IT group, other groups I cannot comment on

Pros

Benefits and salary are above average.

Cons

In the Engineering Technician role, I found being a woman was a very big disadvantage. Women are invisible and push aside. And if you put a complain of sexual discrimination by other coworkers of supervisors, you have placed an expiration date on your job position with the company. If I wasn’t sexually discriminated, I was sexually harassed.
