In Store Visual Merchandiser (m/w/d)
Your Role
As a Visual Merchandiser for Berlin KuDamm , you will work closely with our Head of VM and your Store manager to create a space of surprise and emotions, in accordance with Hermès guidelines and the stores’ commercial objectives.
You will ensure all convey a standard of excellence, through inspiring product presentation, showing the savoir-faire of Hermès and more importantly support sales, while securing the image and credibility of the House.
You will contribute visually to the development of the Hermès sales strategy by working closely with Head of VM and the Store Manager, following the Hermès Group guidelines for VM.
You will work collaboratively with the retail teams to support the delivery of sales results through VM specific approaches and actions. You will ensure that the brand’s image and VM directives are adhered to.
You will support the Store team with training, leading by example and raising awareness of VM standards and expectations.
You will be working in compliance with the identity and singularity of Hermès to stimulate the visual translation of Hermès modernity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Visual Merchandising & Organisation
Develop a strong partnership with the different Stakeholders in Store: store manager, department managers, stock team, metier partners
Other VM Responsibilities
Check in-store presentation materials/supports (PLV), use and maintenance – ensure all PLV is stored correctly, and quarterly checks are performed, informing the Head of VM of any concerns.
Organize and optimize secondary displays (drawers, concealed shelving, counters) supporting the store in structuring them according to Hermès VM guidelines to facilitate sales. propose practical solutions regarding space management and product positioning when needed (at the moment of the VM rotation).
Support Head of VM in preparation and setting up for special events (Store Openings, Commercial and VM Animations/Events) and windows set-up/preparation.
Master VM planning tools (Excel, DAM, Power Point) to anticipate, prepare and execute VM changes.
Store Team Collaboration & Development
Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of products, VM guidelines and VM Essentials and their implementation within the store.
Evaluate and continuously develop the store team’s VM skills (in terms of maintenance and replenishment) through specific VM training and morning brief animations.
Build strong working relationships with all store functions (Métier Ambassadors, Sales Advisors, Stock team) to ensure the correct execution of VM. activities. Ensure that products, pricing and stock are properly arranged and consistently maintained, in full compliance with store and company rules.
Business Support
Identify, together with the Store Management Team and the Head of VM, opportunities to increase sales and customers satisfaction.
Proactivity on finding solutions in relation to KPIs, act aimed to achieve the objectives and maximize sales performances in line with Hermès VM Signature (subject to prior approval of the Head of VM).
Organize and plan work based on business and commercial needs (proactivity on adapting planning to business needs).
