Develop new technology for microoptics manufacturing including etching and replication.
Link metrology and performance evaluation to manufacturing processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Photonics, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines with a focus on optics, lasers, micro-optics, or precision engineering.
Solid foundation in optics and photonics, including topics such as geometrical optics, wave optics, and laser fundamentals.
Exposure to optical systems, microfabrication technologies, precision mechanics, or advanced manufacturing processes is advantageous.
Familiarity with engineering tools such as optical simulation software, CAD tools, or programming/analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB or Python) is beneficial.
Hands-on laboratory experience in optical measurement, laser characterization, microfabrication, or precision alignment is a plus.
Practical experience through laboratory courses, research projects, internship, or final-year theses related to optics, photonics, lasers, micro-optics, optical system design, microfabrication processes, optical assembly, precision mechanics, or semiconductor fabrication.
Curious and motivated engineers with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a hands-on mindset.
