Die Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH ist ein Entwicklungs- und Produktionsstandort für Leistungstransistoren (Power MOSFET) mit über 550 Mitarbeitenden. Vishay investiert in Itzehoe in eine neue Halbleiter-Chip-Fabrik und erweitert damit künftig die Produktionskapazitäten.

Was Sie machen werden:

• Verantwortung für die Entwicklung von Thin-Film- und Diffusionsprozessen im R&D-Umfeld für moderne Power-MOSFET-Technologien

• Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung von Prozessmodulen für die nächste Generation von Leistungshalbleitern

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Process Integration, um neue Bauelementkonzepte und Integrationsansätze zu realisieren

• Planung, Durchführung und Betreuung von Experimenten (DOEs) und Entwicklungslots in der 300-mm-Fab

• Aktive Mitarbeit an Technologie- und Plattformentwicklungsprojekten

• Analyse und Interpretation von Inline-, physikalischen und elektrischen Waferdaten als Grundlage für Technologieentscheidungen

• Unterstützung bei der Evaluierung neuer Anlagen, Prozessfähigkeitsanalysen und Spezifikationen künftiger Technologien

• Aufbau und Sicherung von langfristigem Prozess-Know-how innerhalb der R&D-Organisation

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium (Master oder PhD) in einer natur- oder ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtung

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Thin-Film- und/oder Diffusionsprozessentwicklung im R&D-Umfeld

• Erfahrung mit CVD-Prozessen, insbesondere SACVD, von Vorteil

• Fundiertes Verständnis von Power-MOSFET-Konzepten, Halbleiterprozessen und Fertigungsumgebungen

• Praktische Erfahrung an Prozessequipment (Experimentdurchführung und -entwicklung)

• Nachgewiesene Erfolge in der Halbleiter-Prozessentwicklung und im Process Engineering

• Erfahrung in Process Integration und Technologieplattformen ist ein Plus

• Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in Halbleiterfertigung und Prozessintegration

• Starke Analyse- und Problemlösungsfähigkeiten sowie strukturierte Arbeitsweise

• Hohe Eigenverantwortung, Selbstständigkeit und Teamfähigkeit

• Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Koordinationsfähigkeiten

• Sicherer Umgang mit MES-Systemen, MS Office und statistischen Tools (z. B. JMP)

• Englischkenntnisse mindestens auf B2-Niveau

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.

What you will be doing:

• Responsibility for the development of Thin Film and Diffusion processes in an R&D environment for advanced Power MOSFET technologies

• Drive the development and optimization of unit process modules for next-generation power semiconductor platforms

• Collaborate closely with Process Integration to enable new device concepts and improved integration schemes

• Plan, execute, and supervise experiments (DOEs) and development lots in the 300mm fab

• Contribute actively to technology and platform development projects

• Analyze and interpret inline, physical, and electrical wafer-level data to support technology decisions and releases

• Support the evaluation of new equipment, process capability assessments, and future technology specifications

• Help build and sustain long-term process know-how within the R&D organization

What you will bring along:

• Ph.D. or master’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline

• Several years of experience in Thin Film and/or Diffusion process development in an R&D environment

• Experience with CVD processes, especially SACVD, is a plus

• Strong understanding of Power MOSFET concepts, semiconductor process flows, and fab environments

• Hands-on experience with process equipment, including running experiments and development work

• Proven track record in semiconductor process development and process engineering

• Experience in Process Integration and technology platforms is an advantage

• Solid expertise in semiconductor manufacturing and process integration

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working approach

• High level of ownership, independence, and teamwork

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Proficiency in MES systems, MS Office, and statistical tools (e.g., JMP)

• English proficiency at least at B2 level
